Advertising Internet Research Manager

The Role

Advertising Research Manager – reporting directly to the Quantitative Research Director. The major areas of impact for this role are to contribute to the ability of the company to strengthen the product portfolio, to meet the revenue goals, and provide input on the strategic direction of the business.

The Scope

The successful candidate will work independently to promote quantitative research products and related analytical tools developed by Internet Marketing Research Society in the area of advertising research. Training will be provided as appropriate. An understanding of client needs, the ability to develop and maintain client relationships and project management coordination skills will be essential to long term growth and success.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and define all market opportunities available for advanced advertising research tools
  • Identify and qualify prospects in terms of business fit for the organization and its strategic objectives
  • Increase revenues through new account development and by expanding the range of services with existing clients
  • Responsible for preparing annual strategic business plan. Execute annual sales plan consistent with strategic plans of the company
  • Proactively investigate competitive product offerings, current and future client needs and recommend and implement potential solutions.
  • Coordinate sales, service and analytical activities with clients and company resources such as research executives, data analysts, fieldwork managers and other personnel through effective teamwork and communications
  • Represent the company to clients as project leader or primary contact

Experience/Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience and proven track record in marketing research or related businesses
  • Comprehensive understanding of advertising research would be an advantage
  • Strong client service skills, ability to interact professionally with clients
  • Creative, organized, adaptable and independent
  • Strong project and people management skills
  • Outstanding presentation skills
  • Computer literate (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with excellent command of spoken and written English
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams across a global organization
